    Flocked swab in a tube - sterile. For models 300264 and 300267, the tube is made of polypropylene and has a round bottom with a sealed label to ensure sterility. Tube size: Ø 13 x 165 mm. Sterilized with ethylene oxide. Shelf life: 48 months from the date of sterilization.

    Sterile swabs for clinical use, designed for the collection of biological samples and for their subsequent transport to the laboratory for microbiological analyse.
    Mainly used for the preparation of smears (stained and then observed through a microscope). Alsouseful for isolations in culture media.
    Another remarkable use is for surface spreading techniques as required in antibiotic susceptibility testing for instance.
    It is also useful for multiple uses as cleaning biological cavities or cleaning inaccessible spots, among others.
    Shelf life: 48 months from sterilisation date (sterilisation by ethylene oxide). Certificates of sterilisation are available by request.
    The swabs are considered as surgically invasive products for transient use, they are manufactured according to ISO 13485 and are CE certified as class IIa. Copies of both certificates are available upon request.
    The CE Mark ensures that the facilities and the procedure followed by the company are subjected to rigorous internal and external quality controls by the Notified Body.
