Advantages compared to protective goggles
The face shield can be used together with glasses or operation goggles.
It completely covers the face and not only the eye area. This decreases the contamination risk.
The shield allows a wide angle of view.
Transport protection
Every mask is covered with a protective film on both sides, in order to prevent scratches.
Please remove both foils before use!
Material
The transparent shield is made of polycarbonate (PC). The forehead band consists of non-allergenic fleece.
Both fastener buttons are made of non-allergenic plastic.
Wearing comfort
The retaining cord may be individually adjusted thanks to a hook and loop fastener.
The headband absorbs sweat on the forehead or temples. This prevents a possible contamination
of a sterile area through sweat.
The face shield will not steam up if it is adjusted 1 - 2 cm away from the nose.
The shield prevents direct breathing of cautery fumes.
Autoclavable
The face shields may be used as disposables. However, they are also autoclavable at +121 °C / 249.8 °F
for up to 20 minutes.
